Ruby's

Last night, we went to dinner at a this cute little restaurant. It's called Ruby's Diner. It's a nation wide chain started by a guy who fashioned the restaurant after his mother, Ruby. She missed the way restaurants were back in the 40's and 50's. So he started a restaurant with a 1940's theme. When you walk through the doors, it's like you walk back in time. The only thing missing is roller skates on the waitresses. The food isn't too bad either. Yummy burgers, and milk shakes to die for. Oh yeah, and yummy bottomless fries. It was really fun. Anyway, it's definitely a place I recommend if you can find one where you live.

Books

Well, one of my favorite things to do is read. So I'll talk a little about the books I've been reading over the last little while. The Harry Potter series is of course my absolute favorite. I've read them all at least a dozen times. But I won't talk about them and my obsession with Harry Potter this time.
The first book I will talk about is Twilight. Basically, it's a vampire book. But before you say no it even trying it, I'll tell you it's not your average vampire book. First, it's not full of all those "same old, same old" stuff about vampires. Like they don't constantly drink blood and they don't live in darkness. Well, they drink blood, just not human blood. They don't "sleep" in coffins. Anyway, it's a really sweet love story about a human and a vampire who fall in love. He's a very handsome vampire, who is posing as a 17 year old, but he's really like 400 years old. Vampires don't just die, it's like they are immortal. They can die, but in very specific ways. Anyway, she's just your average 17 year old girl. He is attracted to her by her scent. They are in high school together by the way. Anyway, it's just a really beautiful story about love and family. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
I LOVE the Dragonlance books. Not as much as I love HP, but it's up there. I've been reading the Lost Chronicles trilogy. They take place between the original Chronicles trilogy books. Like the first one is the story of when Tanis and company go to the Dwarven kingdom of Thorbardin to seek a safe place to hide the slaves they rescued in Pax Tharkas. And they also go seeking the Hammer of Kharas. Then the second book is about Kitiara and Laurana, but mostly about Kitiara. So we mostly see the story from the perspective of Queen Takhisis's army. And Laurana and the Knights go to Icereach to get a dragon orb from the evil Dragon Highlord who lives there. The third book is about Raistlin, but I haven't been able to get my hands on a copy of it yet.
Well, I think thats a good enough post to be getting on with. I'll write another post about books I like soon enough. See you next time!

Bidet

Ok, my husband has been on this kick the last little while. He has been researching bidets. If you don't know what a bidet is, I'll explain. It is a toilet popular in Asian countries. Basically, it cleans you with water after you go to the bathroom. So last week, we decided to buy one. It came in the mail the other day. Luckily, it was really easy to install. So I actually installed it, and was very proud of myself. Anyway, so after installing it, we had to try it out right away. So I hit the first button on the remote (oh yeah, it has a remote- did I mention that yet?) called the Posterior Wash. The water at first was really cold, and it was a bit of a shock. But anyway, the water is heated, but at first it is a little chilly. Chilly water in the nether region is really scary at first. Anyway, it has an Enema button, and even a female cleaning button. At first, we both felt a little violated, but that feeling went away to leave us with a clean, happy feeling!
Thanks!

me

Hey there folks.
Well, I'm starting a blog for the first time. Here's a little info about me (I intend this blog to be a bit of a journal type thing). I'm married to the most wonderful guy in the world, Jim. We have a cat, a gerbil, and a whole bunch of fish. We live in Seattle, and no, it doesn't rain as much as they say. Anyway, Jim works for Costco. I am an independent Avon representative.
I enjoy lots of things. Such as video games. My favorite is the Nintendo Wii. I love playing on the Wii Fit. And of course, you can't go wrong with all the Mario games. One of the best things about the Wii is being able to download the old school games that were popular when I was a kid. Other things I really enjoy are surfing the net and reading. And of course, I LOVE food. Anyway, I guess that's about all I have to say right now.
