Well, one of my favorite things to do is read. So I'll talk a little about the books I've been reading over the last little while. The Harry Potter series is of course my absolute favorite. I've read them all at least a dozen times. But I won't talk about them and my obsession with Harry Potter this time.
The first book I will talk about is Twilight. Basically, it's a vampire book. But before you say no it even trying it, I'll tell you it's not your average vampire book. First, it's not full of all those "same old, same old" stuff about vampires. Like they don't constantly drink blood and they don't live in darkness. Well, they drink blood, just not human blood. They don't "sleep" in coffins. Anyway, it's a really sweet love story about a human and a vampire who fall in love. He's a very handsome vampire, who is posing as a 17 year old, but he's really like 400 years old. Vampires don't just die, it's like they are immortal. They can die, but in very specific ways. Anyway, she's just your average 17 year old girl. He is attracted to her by her scent. They are in high school together by the way. Anyway, it's just a really beautiful story about love and family. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
I LOVE the Dragonlance books. Not as much as I love HP, but it's up there. I've been reading the Lost Chronicles trilogy. They take place between the original Chronicles trilogy books. Like the first one is the story of when Tanis and company go to the Dwarven kingdom of Thorbardin to seek a safe place to hide the slaves they rescued in Pax Tharkas. And they also go seeking the Hammer of Kharas. Then the second book is about Kitiara and Laurana, but mostly about Kitiara. So we mostly see the story from the perspective of Queen Takhisis's army. And Laurana and the Knights go to Icereach to get a dragon orb from the evil Dragon Highlord who lives there. The third book is about Raistlin, but I haven't been able to get my hands on a copy of it yet.
Well, I think thats a good enough post to be getting on with. I'll write another post about books I like soon enough. See you next time!
